“Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor
in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The
watchman stays awake in vain.”
Psalm 127:1
History is taking place on the corner of Oakland Mills and
Guilford Roads. Excitement is in the air and all those who
pass by this corner can see the daily progress of the construction.
This corner is a living testament to sovereignty of our God
and His reign as the Supreme Creator and Ruler of the universe.
We work daily to serve Him first and minister to His people.
In order to meet our mission and vision, we must plant for
the harvest. The ground has been turned and the unneeded debris
has been removed. We have begun to plant. The seeds are beginning
to sprout and we continue to nurture their growth.
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the power that
works in us.”
Ephesians 3:20
We must provide the harvest with resources to continue their
growth and development in the Body of Christ. To this end,
we are expanding our current edifice to more effectively house
the ministries of the church as well as giving service to
the community. Once our building ministry is complete, it
will include offices, classrooms, a chapel; a new sanctuary
which will seat approximately 1500 persons, a multi-purpose
area complete with a stage (for dramatic presentations), a
state-of-the-art kitchen facility, and ample parking spaces.
To God be the glory for the great things He continues to do!
