Church School Hour: Sundays, 10:35 a.m. until 11:50 a.m.
(currently at Hammond High School in Columbia, MD)
Classes for students age 4 to adult

Mission Summary
The mission of the Church School of the First Baptist Church of Guilford is to support the Church’s mission of teaching, preaching and healing to win souls to Christ. To this end, we will strive to teach, instruct, train and educate the saved and unsaved, to impart knowledge based on God’s Holy Word, and to encourage disciples to live for Christ and the unsaved to come to Christ and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.

Goals and Objectives
• To create an environment that nurtures and encourages the learning of God’s Word.
• To foster creativity, identification of spiritual gifts and the use of talents to build and enhance the body of Christ.
• To study God’s Word and apply biblical precepts to daily living situations.
• To encourage students to memorize scripture and build on prior knowledge and applications to strengthen their relationship with fellow disciples and God.
• To teach students how to be effective evangelists and fervent prayer warriors.

• Annual Trip to an amusement park
• Everybody’s Birthday
