Mission Statement: The Nurses Guild integrates the Word of God, Baptist Doctrine, a servant’s attitude and Christian principles to assist the congregation and the church community with their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

The Nurses Guild believes in utilizing a Holistic approach in serving the congregation of First Baptist Church of Guilford, physical, emotional and Spiritual.

Physical: “Don’t you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and who was given to you by God? (I Corinthians 6:9). “…and pray for one another that you may be healed.” (James 5:16)

Emotional: “while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not are eternal. (II Corinthians 4:18)

Spiritual: “If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.”(I Timothy 4:6)
