Mission: To foster spiritual growth and to minister to the needs of the entire woman, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally. It is our goal to be a ministry of service not only to the sisters of First Baptist Church of Guilford, but to the women in the community as well. The ministries entail the following:

• Spiritual Growth Ministry
• Human Services Ministry

The Spiritual Growth Ministry has the task of developing effective programs for the spiritual development of our women. This Ministry facilitates the bi-weekly Women's Bible Study (The current Bible Study Topic is “The Gifts and Ministries of the Holy Spirit”), the annual Women's Retreat, conferences, and other special events that foster Christian education and fellowship and the spirit of worship among the sisters. The Evangelism Ministry is also a part of this ministry. The Evangelism Ministry is designed to win souls to Christ. This Ministry distributes tracts, provides service to the Helping Up Mission and to the I Can Center.

The Human Services Ministry creates opportunities for the women to gain knowledge of the things that affect daily living. The Ministry also seeks to involve our sisters in meeting the needs of our sisters in the church and community. "Am I my sister's keeper, YES, I am!" The many events that this Ministry facilitates include workshops and seminars on acquiring basic job skills, fine-tuning job interviewing skills, resume preparation, and employment and personal relationships.
